Birth Matters is hosting
an advanced benefit screening of
The Business of Being Born;
a documentary film from Director Abby Epstein and Producer Ricki Lake.
The screening will be held at the Allen County Main Library Theater on Saturday, January 26, 2008.
This documentary will NOT show in Fort Wayne theaters; this is the ONLY local opportunity to see it in a theater! Doors open at 4:00PM, screening begins at 4:30PM. There is no reserved seating, so arrive early. The movie is approximately 90 minutes long. A wine and cheese reception and silent auction will follow.
Tickets purchased at the door will be $15.00 ($7.50 children under 12), cash or check made payable to Birth Matters (we
will not have a credit card machine available). Please check this
website to ensure seating availability. Due to limited capacity seating and space constraints, we recommend babies in arms.
Even though the documentary is not rated and does not officially require parental guidance, parents should be aware that it does contain mature content. (view trailer)
The profits from this event will support Birth Matters , a new and independent Childbirth and Family Education Center in downtown Fort Wayne, IN.
We look forward to seeing you there!
